Custom Wall Covering in Kids Room

Decorating a kids room with a theme is one of the easiest ways to give them and exciting and fun retreat. It also gives children a way to express their interests. Themes can be continued and emphasized with almost anything in the room: bedding, rugs, lamps, toys, window treatments. One of the most creative, however, is the use of childrens wall murals and kids wallpaper borders.

Childrens wall murals are the perfect way to transform a child’s room into a harmonious jungle clearing, a fun farm or even the setting of the child’s favorite show or book. Custom kids murals are best of all because they give a unique, one-of-a-kind feel to the room, showing the child just how special they are.

Kids wallpaper borders are another option for adding flair to a bedroom. They’re great for emphasizing a theme in a low-key fashion or keeping the room from becoming too busy. Wallpaper borders can be added near the ceiling of the wall or near the middle; they give a lot of freedom and can help break up a blank canvas on a child’s room.

Whether you go with a custom childrens wall mural or fun wallpaper borders you’re taking a step toward making your child’s room as special as they are. Give you child the room design they dream of and they’ll be eager to bring friends over for years to come.

Do You Need Custom Nursery Wall Murals?

Custome nursery wall murals are an easy upgrade

I have twins. What does that mean? That I have no time — or at least very little time — to spare for decorating. When my twins were born, I was too busy feeding them, burping them and trying to get them to sleep (hopefully around the same time.)

But I also really wanted their nursery to be soothing and decorated in a way that would delight adults and children alike. I also didn’t want it to look like everyone else’s nursery. So, I went online and began searching for childrens wall murals, kids wallpaper borders, nursery wall murals, you name it.

I looked for a variety of themes, from butterfly removable wall stickers to a pirate wallpaper mural. But the butterfly removable wall stickers wasn’t quite right for my baby boys. I wanted something that would work for when they were older too. And the pirate wallpaper mural was great for older boys, but not quite right for the baby stage. I finally found a nursery wall mural that seemed just right, featuring a pond and a fishing pole and a tree with a door and a window. It was easy to apply (just remember to follow directions and use wallpaper sizing), and even as the boys have gotten older, it’s been great. When they were just toddlers, they even tried to climb into the picture and play on the tree, it seemed so real to them. Plus, when friends and families visit, I always get comments on the “custom” look.
